Piolo Pascual eyeing to do a series in 2027

MANILA — Piolo Pascual is looking forward to returning to television in 2027, saying he is eyeing to do a series.

“I am still waiting for the right project but [I’m] definitely doing a TV series come next year,” he said on Wednesday.

The actor added he is also hoping to produce more films.

“Marami in the pipeline. We are waiting for schedules,” he said.

“Being actor and producer is both fulfilling. Bilang alagad ng sining gawin mo lahat para umayos ng movie making. Sana marami tayo ma inspire not just to produce but manood and suportahan tayo sa sinehan,” he added.

Apart from his showbiz career, Pascual also keeps busy with his resort in Batangas. He, however, recently shared that his property is grappling with a power outage following the disaster that struck the province.

“This last week we experienced a disaster in Mabini, Batangas where I am from. There was a landslide. Since I have a property there, a resort. The electricity was cut because mga poste nagtumbahan. We were told by an LGU it will probably be two more weeks. Sa bahay namin pero by the ocean, sa resort, wala kami electricity. Na cut kasi lahat ng poste. We will have to wait,” he explained.  

“That was when I realized the value of energy. Kung wala ka generator, backup, wala ka kuryente. Lahat ng food mo spoiled. Lahat walang charge.”

Pascual is set to release an album in November. One of the tracks will be a duet with his son, Iñigo. 

“He composed a song for my album. We recorded the past week. It is a duet. So I am excited to show it all to you,” he said.
