Radisson Blu Cebu marks 10th year of Something Blu bridal fair

CEBU — Radisson Blu Cebu will mark the 10th anniversary of its annual Something Blu bridal fair with a promotion that will give one couple a wedding reception and other wedding essentials.

The two-day bridal fair will be held October 10-11 at the Santa Maria Grand Ballroom of Radisson Blu Cebu. The winner of the “Your Wedding on Us” promotion will be announced during the opening on October 10.

The winning couple was selected from nominations submitted by family members, friends and loved ones who shared the story of a couple whose relationship has endured challenges and sacrifices but whose resources may not be enough to make their dream wedding possible.

The couple will receive a wedding dinner reception hosted by the hotel, along with wedding essentials provided by participating sponsors and wedding suppliers. Nine other finalists will receive accommodation and dining vouchers.

The bridal fair will bring together more than 100 wedding suppliers, offering couples access to venues, services, products, wedding packages and special rates.

Among the offers available during the fair is a wedding package that includes a buffet menu, welcome drinks, canapés, an overnight stay in a suite with harbor view, use of an 18-seater coaster for up to three hours, a holding area for the couple and entourage, and a complimentary wedding rehearsal and prenup venue.

The first 10 couples to sign up will also receive either The Blu Cup, good for 50 cups, or Blu Gelato, good for 25 scoops. The offer is available for bookings made October 10-11, with a minimum of 50 guests and a deposit of at least P60,000. The wedding may be held until December 30, 2027.

The fair will also feature “Milestones at The Blu,” an anniversary celebration package for couples and families marking milestones beyond the wedding day. The package includes a buffet menu, welcome drinks, a holding room and an overnight stay in a Superior Room with breakfast for two.

The anniversary package is also available for bookings made during the October 10-11 fair, with a minimum of 50 guests and a P60,000 deposit.

Couples who sign up during Something Blu will also have a chance to win hotel accommodations from 10 partner hotels.

Something Blu traces its roots to a 2013 pre-launch. Radisson Blu Cebu said it has hosted more than 1,400 weddings over the years.

The bridal fair was paused from 2020 to 2022 during the pandemic before returning in 2023. It has continued annually since then, bringing together couples, wedding suppliers, event professionals and industry partners.
