What to watch out for in Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera’s ‘Remember’ teaser

There are things that come back to us when we’re ready to remember again… Are you ready to remember? 

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera reunite with director Mae Cruz Alviar for their new film “Remember”, following their 2023 box-office hit “Rewind”. This time, however, their story takes them all the way to the scenic streets of Quebec. 

The trio’s upcoming team-up also marks an exciting co-production between Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, AgostoDos Pictures, and Regal Entertainment. 

As the film’s official teaser dropped on Thursday, October 8, the real-life couple gave fans a peek at their next magical big-screen romance. But beyond the kilig, the teaser also offered a few intriguing details that could hint at what’s in store for their characters.

Here’s what you should look out for in the “Remember” teaser!

At the heart of “Remember” is a young girl who appears to be the daughter of Dingdong and Marian’s characters. 

The role is played by child star Zia Grace, who brings plenty of energy and charm to the teaser. She can be seen playfully bantering with her mother and sharing sweet moments with both of her parents, hinting at the close family dynamic at the center of the story. 

The teaser transports viewers to the picturesque streets of Quebec, giving the film a distinctly scenic backdrop. 

Beyond shots that highlight the charming streets and architecture, Dingdong and Marian also get their own romantic encounters against the Quebec cityscape, from nighttime strolls to sharing a quiet moment while overlooking the river.

The teaser also gives us a glimpse of Dingdong and Marian in different hairdos and outfits, suggesting that the story may explore different periods or stages in their family’s relationship.

For most of the teaser, Marian sports a fresh pixie cut, paired with cozy jackets and sweaters that fit the chilly Quebec setting. 

Dingdong, meanwhile, goes for a more laid-back look, sporting a slightly scruffy beard and mustache while maintaining his effortless charm. 

Perhaps one of the most delightful details from the teaser? Marian showcases her French skills! 

Marian opens the teaser with Zia quizzing her on her proficiency in the language. 

Later, Dingdong asks Marian about the meaning of the phrase “Je me souviens,” to which she replies, “Ibig sabihin niyan, ‘I remember.’” 

Could that simple phrase serve as a possible clue to the film’s story?
