Star Cinema unveils teaser for ‘Remember’ starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera

Star Cinema has unveiled the teaser for its upcoming film Remember, starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

The teaser offers a glimpse into the story of Dingdong and Marian’s characters set in Quebec, Canada.

“May mga bagay na bumabalik sa atin kapag handa na tayong makita ulit sila,” said the narrator in the teaser.

In one scene, Dingdong’s character asks Marian’s character about the meaning of a license plate number in French, to which she replies, “I remember.”

Marian’s character also reflects on the importance of memories and how love can make them unforgettable.

“Importante sa kanila ang makaalala. Mahalaga sa kanila kung ano ang nakaraan nila. Maganda man o hindi basta may pagmamahal hindi naman makakalimutan ‘yun,” she said. 

According to the synopsis shared by Star Cinema on YouTube, Remember follows “an estranged couple who have forgotten what it means to love each other find themselves pretending to be together again for the sake of their daughter, whose memory is fading.”

The synopsis further reads: “As they remember their past, they learn that love has a long memory. All it sometimes needs is one miracle to remember.”

Directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, Remember is set to hit cinemas on November 11.

Fans online were quick to react to the teaser.

“Kaka-excite naman❤,” one fan wrote.

“OMG!! I’m ready to cry again,” another fan commented.

In an interview in September, Marian shared what audiences can expect from the film.

“Nakakakilig siya kasi ibang tema naman mararamdaman ng mga tao. ‘Yun naman ang palagi naming priority eh. Na kapag nanuod ka ng pelikulang ito, ano bang maibibigay mo pag lumabas sila? So this time sabi ko nga, kung hindi ka naniniwala sa magic, this time maniniwala ka, dahil kailangan at nararapat,” she said.

The actress also revealed that she and Dingdong spent nearly a month filming in Canada, an experience that allowed them to enjoy some quality time together as a couple.

“Parang feeling namin work pero this time kasi, parang first time namin lang ulit na makaalis na kaming dalawa lang, na hindi namin kasama ‘yung mga kids. So nagkaroon kami ng mga maliit na moment kahit na nag-shu-shooting kami. At least, alam mo ‘yung feeling na mag-girlfriend, boyfriend kayo kasi nga kayong dalawa lang,” she recalled.
