Get 10,000 mAh smartphone for all-day use

Looks like “Sorry, my phone battery died” may soon become an excuse of the past. It used to be an easy explanation for missing a call, not being able to reply back, not being able to capture important events, and many other occasions that usually require you to have your phone battery.

As everyday activities and transactions rely on smartphones, running low on battery may be a real hassle. It may interrupt plans, complicate simple tasks, and waste valuable time.

Carrying a bulky charger or power bank is not always an option and really just not convenient either. Thankfully, that is about to change.

On October 4, 2026, vivo Philippines launched the vivo V80 Lite at Market! Market! in Taguig City.

The highlight of the launch was its 10,000 mAh BlueVolt battery, marking the arrival of the vivo V80 Lite in the era of 10,000 mAh smartphone batteries.

During the launch presentation, vivo highlighted what users may expect from a full charge:

– Up to 15.8 hours of gaming

– Up to 29 hours of binge-watching

– Up to 10 hours of navigation, even with only 10% battery remaining

– Up to 8.9 hours of talk time from just 10 minutes of charging

The phone also supports reverse charging, allowing users to power up earbuds, mini fans, other Type-C devices, and even other smartphones through the vivo V80 Lite.

During commutes and outdoor trips, people often switch between apps for navigation, ride-hailing, photography, and social media. Using a smartphone in extremely hot weather may also put its battery performance to the test.

The vivo V80 Lite is designed to maintain battery endurance in temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for hot and humid conditions such as those in the Philippines.

Its BlueVolt battery is also designed to last up to seven years while retaining up to 80% of its original capacity.

Beyond battery life, the vivo V80 Lite comes with features designed to handle the demands of daily use. It has passed five military-grade durability tests and earned five U.S. military standard certifications.

The phone may withstand accidental drops from heights of up to three meters, water splashes, and heavy rain. Getting caught in a downpour while needing to call family members or check the latest weather updates may be less stressful with a device designed to handle such conditions. It has also undergone scratch-resistance testing on seven different surfaces.

The camera system offers another set of features for everyday moments. The vivo V80 Lite is equipped with a 50 MP Sony main camera and a 32 MP front camera, along with Pro Sports Mode for capturing moving subjects, including pets and children at play. Its wider selfie view also makes it easy to fit more people into a single group photo.

The 10,000 mAh battery made headlines even before the Philippine launch.

On August 11, 2026, the vivo V80 Lite 5G set a Guinness World Records title for the “Longest Electronic Product Live Stream” after running continuously for 32 hours and 37 minutes in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Creators from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines took part in the challenge, using the phone for navigation, photography, gaming, and calls throughout the livestream.

vivo brand ambassador Marian Rivera graced the launch and shared how the 10,000 mAh BlueVolt battery could keep up with her busy lifestyle.

“Mahaba ang araw ko. Sa umaga, kasama ko ang family ko at mga anak ko. After that, may work and errands. Ang dami kong meetings. Wala akong pause button,” said Rivera.

(I usually have long days. In the morning, I am with my family and kids. After that, I have work and errands. I have a lot of meetings. I do not have a pause button).

She added that having a full battery bar helps her stay connected from the start of her day until she gets home at night.

For vivo Brand Marketing Director Liu Lu, the extended battery life is about helping users accomplish more throughout the day.

“We are really willing to contribute a new gadget to improve the productivity and efficiency of people. It makes your life easier because it has a long battery life. With this, you can work with your phone all day and make people’s lives better,” said Lu.

The launch also revealed the vivo V80 Lite’s price and color options. The smartphone is available in Emerald Green, Afterglow Pink, and Dawn Black, with a retail price of P24,000.

The pre-order period runs from October 4 to 16, 2026.
