Emma Tiglao reflects on Miss Grand International reign: ‘The crown may be passed on, but the purpose remains’
Emma Tiglao has officially closed her chapter as Miss Grand International 2025, looking back on a reign she described as a journey of faith, purpose, and personal growth as she passed the coveted golden crown to her successor.
In a series of Instagram posts on October 10, the Filipina beauty queen expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to wear the crown and use her platform to share her advocacies, calling the experience one of the greatest honors of her life.
“It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to be your Miss Grand International 2025. 🤍👑,” she wrote.” As I pass on the crown to a new Queen, I carry a heart full of gratitude, unforgettable memories, friendships that became family, and a purpose that will forever remain.”
Emma emphasized that the journey had given her “so much more than a crown,” adding: “It has changed me, touched my soul, and allowed me to make a difference. Though this chapter ends, I know God has something beautiful waiting for me next.”
She also thanked those who supported her throughout her journey, including the Filipinos who stood behind her as she represented the country on the international stage.

Pilipinas, mahal na mahal kita. 🇵🇭❤️,” she ended.
In a separate post, Emma credited her faith for leading her to the opportunity, sharing the lessons she learned while carrying the responsibilities that came with the title.
“God gave me this crown when my heart was ready and my strength was enough to carry its responsibility. I have learned that dreams have no deadline and no age can limit what God has planned for us. The journey may not be easy, but trust His timing. He will lead us where we are meant to be. 🤍”
She continued: “As I pass the crown to the next Queen, my prayer is that she wears it with pride, humility, and the courage to inspire and make a difference.”
While her reign has come to an end, Emma made it clear that she does not see this moment as a final farewell to the journey that shaped her.
“I am Emma Mary Tiglao, your forever Miss Grand International 2025. This is not goodbye, but the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. 👑❤️,” she ended.
The Miss Grand International organization also paid tribute to Emma on its official social media page, recognizing the grace and dedication she brought to the title throughout her reign.
“Throughout her reign, Emma brought elegance, strength, warmth, and a presence that was entirely her own. From the biggest stages to the quietest moments behind the scenes, she carried the crown with heart and represented Miss Grand International with pride wherever the journey took her,” part of the tribute read.
Emma took her final walk as Miss Grand International 2025 during the pageant’s 2026 coronation night in Thailand on October 10. She then passed the golden crown to Jihan Dimack of Tanzania, who was crowned Miss Grand International 2026.
Her reign also marked a milestone for the Philippines. Emma became the second Filipina to win the Miss Grand International title, following CJ Opiaza’s victory in 2024 and securing back-to-back wins for the country.
