For real na? Binoy and Tolits of “Coco Martin’s Sigabo” think that Gloria is already in love with Gabo—here’s why!
Is what started out as a mere act finally turning into something real?
As avid viewers of “Coco Martin’s Sigabo” know, the main reason why Sam (Julia Montes) pretends to have lost her memory is to simply find out his connection to notorious illegal drugs syndicate leader Victor Zafra (JM de Guzman). But as Gabo (Coco Martin) plays along with her act and even gives her the name “Gloria,” things have taken an unexpected turn as she gradually grows attached to them.
As Sam spends more time with Gabo, her perception of him begins to change. She discovers that beneath the man she once despised and accused of being rude lies a genuinely good heart who cares so much for his family and friends, the people around him, and most especially, her. Thus, it won’t be really surprising if Sam eventually falls for Gabo, no matter how hard she tries to fight her growing feelings for him.
Although she has neither verbally expressed nor openly demonstrated it yet, Sam’s actions and gestures seem to suggest that she has indeed already fallen for him. And two of Gabo’s friends, Binoy (Nikko Natividad) and Tolits (Jerald Napoles), notice the telltale signs and share their observations in this video recently uploaded by CCM Film Productions to its official Facebook page.
According to them, there are five clues or signs that support their theory that Gloria has already developed feelings for Gabo—and is simply pretending otherwise.
The first clue is how much she worries about him, particularly when Gabo was severely beaten up by a group of goons who had apparently gone to Ginintuang Lupa to hunt her down. She even insisted on taking care of him by tending to his wounds and stayed by his side until he regained consciousness and recovered.
Meanwhile, the second clue was when she anxiously waited for Gabo to come back home after he left to help his friends rescue their neighbors from the same group of goons. Sam may have wanted to go after him and help him and his friends fight their enemies, but Gabo and his family prevented her out of fear that she might get harmed. Since she had to go along with their decision to avoid blowing her cover about her supposed memory loss, Sam had no choice but to wait anxiously for her “husband” to return.
The third clue, according to Jerald, was the scene where Gloria held Gabo’s hand. However, he kept the specific scene under wraps, leaving it to the audience to recall which episode featured the kilig moment.
Nikko dropped the fourth clue, which is Gloria’s efforts to win over the family of Gabo by helping with household chores without being asked. From cleaning and rearranging their living room and Gabo’s bedroom to buying the ingredients for their breakfast and preparing their meal one time, Gloria seems determined to prove to the Magtibays that she’s definitely wife material.
Jerald teased viewers once again by keeping the fifth clue a secret, encouraging everyone to tune in to the upcoming episodes of “Sigabo” to find out what it is.
