The Loyalty Game: Ang dalangin ng puso ni Imelda | Episode 6

Imelda (Carmina Villaroel) hopes for the safety of her family in the October 12 episode of “The Loyalty Game.”

As part of a tribute for Ben (Jericho Rosales) at the upcoming party, Danny (Joel Molina) continues to interview the people closest to him, even though it is only a cover-up to further investigate Ben’s identity, as ordered by Tonyo (Bernard Palanca).

Danny has gone through multiple interviews, including with the staff at Azucarera de Saguil, and his next prospect is Ben’s mother-in-law, Imelda. Expressing her admiration for Ben, Imelda affirms that she fully trusts him; otherwise, she would not have let him marry Ana (Janine Gutierrez) if she did not have faith in him. “Ana means the world to me,” Imelda says.

Danny tries to shift the conversation further to dig deeper into Ben’s identity, as he is not originally from Vallente. Imelda declares that it does not matter where Ben came from, as Ana fell in love with and put her trust in him. Before their wedding, Imelda admits that she first had to find out if Ben was deserving of Ana, and to her, Ben is the perfect match for her daughter.

Imelda proudly says that she witnessed how Ben and Ana’s love for each other unfolded. “Ngayon, kung may maninira sa kanya at makakaapekto sa anak ko, Danny, I will protect them,” Imelda tells Danny.

Later, Imelda gets on a phone call with Ana, asking further about Ben. Ana assures her mother that everything is going well between them, but anxiety washes over Imelda as she admits that she has a strange feeling that danger is looming over their family.

During a gathering with her friends, Imelda offers a prayer, wishing for all the wicked people who are bringing danger to perish and for those who bring them harm to face the consequences instead.
