The Loyalty Game: Ana, hindi maiwasang isipin ang nakaraan ni Ben | Episode 7

Ana (Janine Gutierrez) recalls her conversation with Ben (Jericho Rosales) about his past in the October 13 episode of “The Loyalty Game.”

Apart from the upcoming birthday celebration of Mariano Saguil (Carlos Siguion-Reyna), one of the most anticipated highlights of the event is the announcement of the newest CEO of Azucarera de Saguil who will take over his position, and Ben is known to be eyeing the said post.

In celebration of his possible takeover, a video tribute about him will be shown at the party, although it is only a cover-up, as Tonio (Bernard Palanca), the son of Mariano, is also eyeing the position. The presentation is also meant to uncover any suspicious information about Ben.

Tonio hires Danny (Joel Molina), who investigates Ben further. As part of the presentation, he interviews the people closest to Ben, including his wife, Ana. Danny visits Ana at her office to ask for her participation, and without a second thought, Ana immediately says yes to being interviewed.

Later on, Ana begins talking about Ben by declaring her love for him. “Ben is the love of my life. Wala na nga akong hihilingin pang iba eh.” She adds that she cannot imagine her life without him. Danny asks Ana what could possibly be something that most people do not know about Ben, but Ana proudly answers that everyone knows Ben and how he is a self-made man.

The conversation is going smoothly, until Danny asks about their relationship and their misunderstandings, which makes Ana suspicious, as the topic suddenly changes. Danny later ends the interview, asking Ana if she could refer any of Ben’s friends outside Vallente for the interview.

Ana suddenly reflects on the time before their wedding when she asked Ben about his groomsmen, but Ben could not invite anyone, saying that all of his friends were now living abroad. This confuses Ana, though she just lets it go. The sudden realization makes Ana think about Ben and his past, drawing a worried look on her face.

A lingering question about Ben’s past leaves Ana unsettled.
