Karen Davila’s son David shared his recently completed painting, which is a portrait of Jesus Christ.

On his Instagram page, David posted a snapshot of the artwork and relayed the process that went into creating it.

“MODERN PORTRAIT OF JESUS CHRIST: I did this as a history abstract. I also did this using art supplies and a paintbrush including acrylic paint,” he said in his post.

Karen commended David’s latest work.

“I am blown away my love! @iamdavidstaana,” she wrote in the comments section of the post. “Wooooow this is amazing David.”

Netizens also applauded David’s artistic skills.

“This is amazing work David! Such a powerful portrait of Jesus!” another netizen wrote.

Back in June 2022, David showcased his artistic talents by participating in an art exhibition for a charitable cause.

“PROUD OF YOU DAVID David and his classmates are closing the year with their first art exhibit – and for a good cause!” Karen posted on her Instagram page at that time.

The exhibition featured David’s paintings and sculptures, along with artworks created by his fellow students.

“These are all @iamdavidstaana’s paintings & sculptures but his classmates have beautiful works as well! For all of you who know David’s journey – you know how powerful a testimony this is of God’s grace & goodness!” she shared.

Karen also expressed her hope that her son’s achievements would encourage other parents of children with special needs to recognize and nurture their talents and abilities.

“It makes me so proud to share David’s journey & his accomplishments because I know it will inspire other mothers with gifted & special kids to believe, commit & invest in developing their child! Thank you @ericsonperezj and all the teachers of @thevanguardacademyph for such an amazing job! Praise God for all of you! I love you so much @iamdavidstaana,” she wrote.
