Wendell Ramos recalls experience as a firefighter volunteer

Kapuso actor Wendell Ramos shared his experience as a firefighter volunteer and why he decided to become one. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk, he recalled how great the feeling was for him being able to help other people through this way.

Wendell became a firefighter volunteer during the COVID-19 Pandemic. He decided to undergo training when he was invited by some of his friends who were also volunteers.

I also have to protect my family. Something like that,” he added.

The Kapuso star then recalled how he experienced putting a fire out and having to go on top of the roof just to help out his fellow firefighters.

“Alam mo, nagpapasalamat yung tao. So sabi ko, wow, what a great feeling, what a blessed for me kasi nakapagbigay ako.

As a firefighter volunteer, Wendell revealed that they don’t get paid to help out but despite this, he continues to help out when he’s not busy with his acting career.

“Yeah, meron pa rin kaming group. Malaki ang samahan ng mga bumbero. So special shout out sa lahat ng mga firefighter, especially mga voluntary natin. Of course, respeto rin sa BFP natin,” he ended.
