Legarda has not filed anything for November, he added.
The senator has been on leave since August 3.
Bantug earlier said a 2016 order by then Senate President Franklin Drilon removing the need for permission from the Senate president for senators’ personal travel overseas remains in effect.
Legarda’s absence coincides with the investigation into plunder complaints against her and son Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste over the solar power franchise granted to his company.
A Makati City court has issued a warrant of arrest for Leviste over an alleged violation of the Public Services Act.
Legarda’s spokesperson Tony La Viña meanwhile said Legarda’s illness was “legitimate” but declined to disclose further medical details, citing the senator’s right to privacy.
The impeachment trial has gone on a 26-day break. The Senate’s regular session is also on recess until November 9, the same day the trial will resume.
