What’s new in F&B: Conti’s expansion, CHAGEE Teaspresso, supersized Sicilian Roast tiramisu

From new menu additions to bigger takes on familiar favorites, restaurants and food brands are rolling out fresh offerings and experiences this October.

Conti’s expands with second Robinsons Place Manila branch

Conti’s Bakeshop & Restaurant has opened its second branch at Robinsons Place Manila, a new location on Level 1 of the Adriatico Wing.

The branch is the 113th Conti’s store. Its original, smaller location at the mall remains open on Level 2, where it offers takeout items and brewed coffee. It is scheduled for renovation next year.

The new branch opened on October 12 and offers Conti’s cakes, pastries, and meals in a full restaurant experience.

Two new cake offerings are also set to launch across Conti’s stores next week as part of the brand’s 29th anniversary celebration.

CHAGEE adds two Pure Tea drinks to Teaspresso lineup

CHAGEE has expanded its Teaspresso lineup with two new Pure Tea drinks: Da Hong Pao Teaspresso Pure Tea and Lapsang Souchong Teaspresso Pure Tea.

Teaspresso uses pressure extraction similar to an espresso machine to draw out the aroma and flavor of tea. The two Pure Tea drinks are available at 21 CHAGEE stores.

From October 13 to 30, CHAGEE will also hold free Teaspresso Flight Experiences every Tuesday and Thursday at five stores: Robinsons Galleria, Greenfield District, National University MOA, GLAS Tower, and Park Triangle.

The tea flights will be guided by CHAGEE’s in-house tea masters, with sessions at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 10 slots per session. The initiative is part of Work from CHAGEE, which turns select tea houses into temporary workspaces.

Sicilian Roast supersizes its Frozen Tiramisu Bar

Sicilian Roast’s Frozen Tiramisu Bar is back after leaving the menu in May, this time in a supersized version made for around 20 people.

The larger bar keeps the original build of tiramisu inside a dark chocolate shell. Chocolate, butterscotch, and white chocolate go over the top, while cornflakes add crunch and sea salt balances the sweetness. It comes on a wide wooden stick sized for the larger bar.

Handout

Guests can also have a name piped across the top, making the dessert an option for company parties and family gatherings.

The supersized bar is available for ₱5,990 with at least a week’s notice until February 28, 2027. It also comes free with bookings of 20 or more, provided the booking is made by November 30 and at least a week before the event.

The original single-serve Frozen Tiramisu Bar is also back at ₱250 until November 3.

Both versions are available for dine-in at Sicilian Roast’s four branches in Makati, San Juan, Quezon City, and Alabang.
