Camiguin to launch 2027 tourism campaign at Lanzones Festival
Sagay Municipal Hall. HandoutCamiguin will launch its year-long Visit Camiguin 2027 tourism campaign during the 47th Lanzones Festival, which runs October 15-25 and features cultural performances, food fairs, competitions and concerts.
The festival celebrates the island province’s lanzones, a tropical fruit known for its sweetness. Local officials attribute the fruit’s quality to Camiguin’s climate, volcanic soil and intercropping practices.

He said the province will also highlight developments in the economy, tourism, governance and public health.
Festival activities begin Oct. 18 with the Lanzones Eating Contest, the grand parade, the opening of the Lanzones Festival and Ugmad Agro-Industrial-Tourism-Trade Fair, an eat-all-you-can event, the Festival Music and Kabog Showdown, and the Daos Ki Festival Food Bazaar.
