Pageant coach Ian Mendajar honored to train Christina Nadin for Victoria’s Secret fashion show

Did you know that a Filipino pageant coach was behind the runway walk of Christina Nadin at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show?

Ian Mendajar gave a glimpse of the Filipina-British model’s training in an Instagram post on Monday, October 19. 

The founder of Kembot Studios said it is an honor to have been part of Nadin’s journey since her Paris Fashion Week stint in 2025.

“A dream come true to train a model for one of the biggest fashion shows in the world! Major!” he said.

“My first ever Kembot angel!” he said in another post. “From virtual sessions to in-person training to the Victoria’s Secret runway. So grateful to be part of this journey!”

Nadin made history last weekend as the second Filipina to grace the Victoria’s Secret fashion show runway, after Kelsey Merritt in 2018.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was also spotted in this year’s event as a special guest.

Mendajar is currently the runway coach of Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski. 

He has also trained the likes of Miss Supranational 2026 Katrina Llegado and former Miss Grand All Stars Philippines Gazini Ganados, among others.
