‘Teenage dream come true’: Christina Nadin meets Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel

Christina Nadin did not just make history at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show as the second Filipina to hit the runway — she also marked a major full-circle moment. 

On Instagram, Nadin shared that she finally got to meet one of her idols, Candice Swanepoel, during the event. 

Recalling a childhood memory, the Filipina-British model revealed how much she admired the Victoria’s Secret Angel.

“When I was in high school, my best friend made me this memory/manifestation box. The main image on the box was my face stuck onto the iconic Candice Swanepoel’s body,” she said.

“A teenage dream come true. Thank you all for making that happen,” she added.

Many netizens expressed their happiness and support for Nadin, calling her the “queen of manifestation.”

Others, meanwhile, believe that more good things are coming for the Filipina-British model.

Nadin is the second Filipina to grace the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, after Kelsey Merritt in 2018. 

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was also spotted in this year’s event as a special guest.
