Solenn Heussaff’s new painting ‘Tangled Sanctuary’ exhibited in Paris

Solenn Heussaff is celebrating a new milestone in her journey as a visual artist as one of her paintings is being showcased at an exhibition in Paris, France.

On her Instagram page, the Filipino-French actress and artist shared her excitement about exhibiting her new painting titled “Tangled Sanctuary” in the French capital.

“Can’t believe we’re exhibiting in Paris today!” she wrote.

Solenn reflected on her personal connection to Paris, sharing how the city has played a significant role in shaping her identity and artistic journey.

“Being half French, having spent my summers growing up in Paris, and later living there for three years during college, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the city’s architecture, history, and charm. Paris has shaped so much of who I am, so being able to bring my art back to a place that feels like a second home is such a full-circle moment. Aaahhhh!!” she highlighted.

The actress also offered a glimpse into the inspiration behind her artwork.

“My piece, ‘Tangled Sanctuary,’ is an abstract, overgrown landscape with a central pathway that draws you inward, almost inviting you to get lost in it,” she explained.

Solenn shared that through the piece, she wanted to convey how people can find tranquility despite life’s uncertainties.

“I wanted to create a space that feels both wild and comforting. The tangled vegetation represents the beautiful messiness of life, the things we can’t always control, the uncertainty, the constant movement and change. Yet, somewhere within all that chaos, there is still a path, a sense of calm, and a place to breathe,” she said.

She further reflected: “We often associate peace with order, clarity, and having everything figured out. But I like to think that sometimes, peace is simply learning to be comfortable in the middle of the unknown.”

Solenn concluded her post by sharing the message she hopes to convey through her artwork.

“’Tangled Sanctuary’ is a reminder that we don’t always need to escape the chaos to find our refuge. Sometimes, our sanctuary exists right in the middle of it,” she remarked.
