Vice Ganda at Marian Rivera, nagtapat sa isang Q&A | Gandang Gabi, Vice!

We’ve known and loved Marian Rivera as one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Philippine showbiz, but with a face that gorgeous, we’ve also wondered why she never pursued a career in beauty pageants.

Well, here’s a fun fact. Marian was actually a ‘kontesera‘ when she was younger. And she got to relive her ‘beauty queen’ era during her guest appearance on “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

Growing up, Marian was already aware of how pretty she is, which she actually used to boost her confidence in joining school beauty pageants. She really enjoyed participating in beauty contests as a child, which gave Vice the idea to challenge her to a playtime pageant showdown called “Miss GGV 2026,” where they would compete for the crown.

While Vice jokingly considered herself at a disadvantage in beauty and talent, Marian, on the other hand, wanted to back out of the Q&A portion just because she had to answer in English. To make the segment even more entertaining, Geng Gang member Verna Periwinkle stepped in as her interpreter.

Marian understood the assignment and delivered the punchline when asked what mandatory global law she would implement to fight climate change. Later, she couldn’t contain her laughter when Vice spoke in ‘fake’ Spanish while answering a question about her favorite color.

After the talent portion and Q&A, Vice tried to rig the results, but the cheating act failed, with the audience still voting for Marian as the winner of “Miss GGV 2026.”
