Everything to Know About ABS-CBN Foundation’s ‘Swing for a Cause Year 2: A Kapamilya Gold Fundraiser’

Golf enthusiasts and Kapamilya supporters can look forward to another opportunity to give back as ABS-CBN Foundation brings back its charity golf tournament, Swing for a Cause Year 2: A Kapamilya Golf Fundraiser, on November 9, 2026.

The event will take place at Canlubang Golf and Country Club’s South and North Courses, bringing together Kapamilya artists, golf enthusiasts, donors, and corporate partners for a day of friendly competition in support of the Foundation’s advocacies.

The tournament follows the success of its inaugural edition, which gathered 150 players and 54 corporate partners and raised P3 million in gross proceeds. For its second year, the Foundation hopes to generate more funds to expand its reach and strengthen its support for Filipino communities.

For 37 years, ABS-CBN Foundation has championed initiatives that address the needs of Filipino families and communities. Its programs focus on child protection, education, disaster response and resilience, environmental conservation, and sustainable livelihood development.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the Foundation’s five key programs: Bantay Bata 163 for child protection, Sagip Kapamilya for disaster response and resilience, Programa Genio for education, Bantay Kalikasan for environmental conservation, and GaLing Pamayanan for sustainable livelihood.

Beyond the sport, Swing for a Cause Year 2 offers participants an opportunity to contribute to initiatives that help improve the lives of beneficiary families and communities across the Philippines.

Tournament fees are set at P6,000 for non-Canlubang Golf Club members, with a special rate of P5,500 per person for groups of four. Club members may join for P4,500. The registration fee covers the green fee, shared golf cart, breakfast, lunch buffet, and raffle participation.

Registration begins at 6:00 AM, followed by the shotgun start at 8:00 AM. A lunch reception is scheduled for 12:30 PM, while the awarding ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM.
