Miss Teen Universe Philippines 2026 Catherine Wardle. Wardle/Instagram Catherine Wardle nearly won the crown in the Miss Teen Universe 2026 pageant in Cambodia on Sunday, October 25.
The Philippine representative placed second runner-up, with Cuba’s Leah Reyes Amores proclaimed as the winner.
Wardle got off to a strong start in the competition, securing a spot in the Top 20 after winning the Social Project fast-track award.
She went on to advance to the Top 7 after delivering an impressive performance during the sportswear and evening gown rounds.
During the question and answer segment, Wardle spoke of the potential of young people like her to create change, citing her work with local and international organizations.
“I’ve often been told that I was incapable of being a strong leader because I was often the youngest in the room. And yet, I still chose to let my actions rise beyond their doubts. I’ve been able to work with local and international organizations such as UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and Youth Plan International where we’ve been able to uplift and change the lives of teens in my community and across my country,” she shared.
“And with this global platform, I want to continue to amplify the mission and give visibility to these teens across the globe,” the young beauty queen continued. “As Miss Teen Universe, I want to remind everyone that the limit people place on us will never be the limit of our potential. Because look how far I’ve come here at Miss Teen Universe.”
It was earlier this year when Wardle was appointed by The Miss Philippines to compete in Miss Teen Universe.
She finished in the Top 30 of the national organization’s sister pageant, Miss Universe Philippines, which was won by Bea Millan-Windorski.
