Patch things up or break up? Sue, Joey, and other “Sigabo” stars share relationship advice for Gabo and Gloria
As Gabo (Coco Martin) and Gloria (Julia Montes) go through a rough patch in their pretend relationship, they are fortunate to have family and friends who want nothing more than for them to resolve their misunderstanding in Coco Martin’s Sigabo—well, except for one person who would be more than happy to see them finally split up.
While we’ve already heard their loved ones share their thoughts on the fake couple’s current predicament in previous episodes, CCM Film Productions has once again asked some of their family and friends to offer advice to Gabo and Gloria in its latest reel uploaded to its official social media pages.
Jerald Napoles, who plays Tolits, advises Gloria to calm down and not let Gabo see that she is affected by the situation, since Gabo isn’t doing anything wrong anyway. As for Gabo, Jerald thinks he should give Gloria more time and make sure not to sleep before she does.
Nikko Natividad, who plays Binoy, believes Gloria should trust Gabo, considering how hard he works and how exhausting it can be to work as a taxi driver. Misty’s visit to Gabo doesn’t mean anything, as she was simply being kind to bring him lasagna. Thus, Gloria should put her mind at ease, knowing that Gabo is a well-behaved man whose life revolves around work and home, and that he loves her very much.
Since Gloria is an NCIA agent, Bassilyo, who portrays Ipe, suggests that she puts her investigative skills to use by uncovering the truth and getting to the bottom of the situation before judging Gabo. Meanwhile, Smugglaz, who plays Bong, would likely tell Gabo to do everything he can to win Gloria over and be a little patient with her. He is confident that they will overcome whatever challenges they are facing and that this experience will only make their relationship stronger.
While the rest of their barkada are fully supportive of the fake couple, Sue Ramirez encourages her character Tekla’s stiffest rival, Gloria, to end things with Gabo—the man she has secretly loved since their younger years. Staying true to her character, Sue sarcastically advises Gloria, “Siguro, it’s time. Hiwalayan mo na ‘te! Balik ka na do’n sa inyo. ‘Yon ang pinakanararapat na gawin mo. Wala nang chance ‘yong Gabo na ‘yan. Uwi ka na. Ba-bye!”
Joey Marquez, who plays Gabo’s beloved father, Rudy, advises him to shower Gloria with affection by bringing her food and flowers, or perhaps even doing her laundry, so she will forgive her. Meanwhile, Julio Diaz, who portrays Gabo’s supportive uncle, Dante, tells his nephew to go all out to win his wife over, confident that he can pull it off because he’s handsome, after all.
