Sigabo: Betchay, hinikayat si Gloria na bumukod kasama si Gabo | Episode 91

As she arrives home from work, Betchay (Irma Adlawan) once again gets on the nerves of the members of their household by insulting the food prepared by Gabo (Coco Martin) for breakfast and criticizing him and his efforts to win Gloria (Julia Montes) back after their misunderstanding.

While Rudy (Joey Marquez), Dante (Julio Diaz), and Mameng (Ces Quesada) are outside, Betchay takes the opportunity to speak with Gloria one-on-one, as the latter is busy folding clothes inside the bedroom she shares with Gabo.

Betchay tells Gloria to be patient with Gabo, explaining that many people enable his behavior, not only within their household but throughout Ginintuang Lupa. However, Betchay personally finds Gabo’s actions unacceptable, prompting her to advise Gloria that it might be better for her and Gabo to move out and live on their own.

Gloria argues that it isn’t feasible just yet, since Gabo has only recently gotten a job and is still saving money. Nevertheless, Betchay insists that it would be better for them to face life’s hardships together as they begin building their own family. After all, she believes that hardship is easier to bear—and even sweeter—when they face it together.

Clearly annoyed by Betchay’s meddling and insults, Gloria merely shoots her a dirty look in response. Before leaving, Betchay offers one final piece of advice, which is to make sure to take all of Gabo’s daily earnings, so he won’t have any money to fool around with other women. Her remark, however, seems to give Gloria something to think about.
