Aiko Garcia on building her first house: ‘Iba pa rin kapag pinaghirapan’

Actress Aiko Garcia has finally completed the construction of her house after two years.

Garcia said she managed to finish the house early this year after going through periods of uncertainty over whether she could complete it.

“On and off kasi nawawala budget. May time nawalan ako pag-asa. Pero Thank God, natapos,” she recalled during the press conference for her new show “Alindog ni Aiko” in Quezon City on Friday.

While she does not consider it her dream home, Garcia clarified she remains grateful for what she has accomplished.

“Sobrang grateful may nagawa ako. Pero di ko dream house, may ni-look forward ko pa. Pero at least may napuntahan kahit maliit lang,” she reasoned.

The actress explained that she solely funded the construction.

“Natapos ko project on my own, from scratch. Hindi ko man dream house to ito lang kaya ko, at least. Habang ‘di pa natin afford pangarap natin, doon na sa maliit,” she said.

“Alindog ni Aiko” is directed by Christian Paolo Lat.
