DoubleDragon core net income soars to P3.91 billion
MANILA — DoubleDragon Corporation said its net income soared by 253.59 percent to P3.91 billion in the first 9 months of 2026.
The company said its core revenue also hit P20.78 billion in the same period. “This total revenues comprised of pure 100 percent core revenues (with zero revaluation gains),” the company said in a statement.
The company also said this P20.78 billion is also 143.65 percent higher than numbers seen in the same period ast year.
DoubleDragon also noted that its foreign currency revenues contributed majority—or 59.03 percent—of its quarterly total core revenues. The company attributed this to the expansion of its Hotel101 brand.
Hotel101 has opened its branch in Madrid, Spain. It will also open soon in Hokkaido, Japan; Los Angeles, California; 4 locations in Saudi Arabia; 2 locations in Cambodia; Milan, Italy; Melbourne, Australia; Bangkok, Thailand; and Cairo, Egypt.
The newly opened Hotel101 in Madrid has 680 rooms. The branch in Hokkaido, which is also expected to open this year, will have 482 rooms.
Hotel101 is the first Filipino-owned company to be listed and traded on the Nasdaq.
