The Best Halloween Costumes at New Nocturnals 2026

Halloween has always been a playground for fashion, but at New Nocturnals, the costume party became a full-fledged style spectacle. The annual Halloween party organized by Mond Gutierrez and Ash Rye returned this year with a cinematic twist, inviting guests to interpret the theme “Silver Screen” through looks inspired by the movies, their most iconic characters, and the enduring allure of the big screen.

From the gilded glamour of Old Hollywood to the dark drama of contemporary horror, guests were dressed to the nines. Hosts of the evening Mond wore a Victorian vampire look, while Ash donned a stunning Old Hollywood evening gown. Standouts of the evening include Michelle Dee dressed as Cruella de Vil, sporting a striking black and white wig and a glamorous sequin ensemble. Bea Millan-Windorski wore an off-the-runway piece from student designer Christian Relator. The looks features an intricate corset and a beaded skirt, along with a statement head piece.

Lella Ford and Joaquin Arce were inspired by Dune for New Nocturnals. The duo wore complementing Fremen stillsuits, inspired by the looks worn by Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya in the film. Andrea Brillantes tapped into the silent film era and went for a Charlie Chaplin look. Niana Guerrero also opted for a cool interpretation of film noir.

Belle Mariano channeled her inner Nicole Kidman with a custom Moulin Rouge-inspired black and white cabaret look. Also inspired by Moulin Rouge, Ruffa Gutierrez went for an ultimate cabaret fantasy in a pink feathered look adorned with light-up hearts.
