Selena Gomez reunited with her Princess Protection Program co-star and longtime friend Demi Lovato for the latest campaign of her beauty brand, Rare Beauty.
The singer and actress took to social media to reflect on their friendship, sharing a heartfelt message for Demi as they celebrated their latest collaboration.
“Over 25 years of ups and downs in life and friendship and growth, there has always been a constant that has brought me back to you, @ddlovato. You were the person who knew the seven-year-old me who just had a dream, and I knew that you had a very big dream, too,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
Selena went on to express her appreciation for their shared experiences and how their friendship has endured through the years.
“I love what we’ve been through. I’m proud of what we’ve been through. Thank you for still being one of the most unbelievably real honest human beings in my life. Thanks for making me blush extra hard for this campaign. I love you with all my heart,” she said.
The singer also shared how meaningful it was for her to have Demi participate in the campaign.
“Hope you like our @rarebeauty campaign, guys! Having Demi be a part of this chapter means so, so much to me,” she stated.
The collaboration, which was unveiled on October 29 (PH time), features a blush bundle named “Delena,” a nod to the nickname fans gave the two stars.
The campaign also pays tribute to their Disney Channel days, with Selena and Demi recreating the poster of their 2009 movie Princess Protection Program.
“Once a Princess, always a Princess 👑💗 Best friends don’t just have each other’s backs. They make them blush too. @ddlovato @rarebeauty,” Selena posted on Instagram upon the launch.
