The Best Halloween Costumes at Shake Rattle and Ball: Lucid
Halloween got a glamorous, nightmare-inducing makeover at this year’s Shake, Rattle and Ball, the annual star-studded party hosted by Tim Yap. With the theme “Lucid,” guests were invited to explore the strange and surreal world of nightmares, fever dreams, and everything in between. And as expected, the stars delivered, turning the evening into a showcase of high-fashion horror, theatrical transformations, and jaw-dropping costumes.
Leading the fashion fright was Heart Evangelista, who brought couture to the dark side. She wore a chic, sculptural gown with knives seemingly stabbed into her back, proving that even the most haunting visions can be dressed in high fashion.
Andrea Brillantes, meanwhile, took inspiration from one of the most unsettling dreams of all: being naked in public. She embraced the concept with a daring naked newspaper look, making a bold statement that blurred the lines between fashion and fantasy.
Not all dreams had to be terrifying. Ahtisa Manalo brought a touch of fairytale magic to the party in a dreamy princess ballgown, delivering a glamorous vision straight out of a dream.
Niana Guerrero took a celestial approach, appearing as a gilded angel in a look that combined heavenly glamour with a striking golden finish. Meanwhile, LA Aguinaldo channeled the dark, unsettling aesthetic of Saltburn, bringing a dose of cinematic intrigue to the Halloween festivities.
From couture nightmares to dreamlike royalty, this year’s Shake, Rattle and Ball proved that the best Halloween costumes are those that push creativity to the limit. Scroll down below to see the standout Halloween costumes that stole the spotlight at Tim Yap’s Shake, Rattle and Ball!
