KZ Tandingan dedicates ‘Wildflower’ solo concert to younger self: ‘Look how far we’ve come’

KZ Tandingan is dedicating her upcoming solo concert Wildflower at the Araneta Coliseum to her younger self, honoring the courage and perseverance that brought her to this milestone.

On Instagram, the singer shared a video montage tracing her journey in the music industry beginning from her winning The X Factor. 

“Bakit ko ba ’to gagawin? I’m doing it for this kid right here. The little girl who was crazy enough to audition, knowing she could be rejected. AGAIN,” she posted.

KZ reflected on the setbacks she had overcome and her determination to keep pursuing her dreams.

“She didn’t know how many times she’d have to fall, how many times she’d have to start over. Pero kahit ilang beses siyang madapa, SHE KEPT GOING,” she remarked.

The singer ended her message by celebrating how far she had come as she prepares to fulfill her dream of headlining the iconic venue.

“This one’s for you, Dai KZ. Look how far we’ve come. Matutupad mo na ang pangarap na as a solo headliner masigaw ang, ‘ARANETAAAAAAA!!!'” she stated.

Fans online were quick to react to KZ’s post.

Tickets went on sale on October 31 via Ticketnet. Ticket prices by seating section are as follows:

PLATINUM – ₱8,600

SVIP – ₱7,000

VIP – ₱4,300

PATRON – ₱3,200

LOWER BOX – ₱2,700

UPPER BOX (FREE SEATING) – ₱1,800

GEN AD (FREE SEATING) – ₱1,000  

Prices are inclusive of ticketing charges.

KZ is set to stage Wildflower on February 7, 2027 at the Big Dome. 

In a September 2024 interview, KZ said staging a solo concert had long been a dream of hers, but she wanted to build a larger collection of songs to make the show more meaningful.

“Alam mo, sobrang wish ko talaga ‘yun but I think parang kailangan ko munang mag-ipon pa ng mga kanta para naman may reason ‘yung concert. Hindi lang basta bumuo ka ng concert tas nag concert ka lang,” KZ shared at that time.
