Hudson Williams defines relationship with Connor Storrie: ‘Platonic soulmates’
Canadian actor Hudson Williams shared what his relationship is like with fellow actor, Connor Storrie. In a clip shared by TV series, The Assembly, the Heated Rivalry star was asked if he had felt “more than friendship” for his co-star.
“I know you and Connor have a very close friendship. Did you ever feel something for Connor that was more than friendship?” Nate of The Assembly asked Hudson.
Despite the on screen chemistry that they have, Hudson maintained that they both realized that they were “platonic soulmates” and nothing more–– something that made their friendship “stable and beautiful.”
“No, quickly me and Connor realized we were, like, platonic soulmates. Just completely in love with each other. I think that’s what made our friendship so stable and beautiful,” he expressed.
The Canadian star added how they’ve gotten comfortable with each other and could even cuddle it out for 10 hours without having to give it a romantic meaning.
“Is that we realized we could be completely ourselves, be completely, guard down. So, I think the thing that made our relationship as rich as it was is like me and that man could cuddle for 10 hours and it just meant cuddling. It just means we just love each other dearly,” he said.
“But we don’t want to beep each other’s bop. That’s not a saying,” he added.
While the two may not have any romantic feelings for one another in real life, Hudson maintained how he wished he had Connor with him everyday.
“Who doesn’t want Connor Storrie in their shower? You know? Someone needs to get my back you know? I wish Connor was just with me every day. I’m just like hey, cause I have a loofah but I can’t reach. If I had Connor with me every day, he could just come in there ‘I got it Hollander,’” he ended.
Hudson and Connor rose to fame following the massive success of their show, Heated Rivalry, which was based on Rachel Reid’s book series. It follows the intense rivalry of Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov which quickly turned into romance.
The show is streaming on HBO Max in the Philippines and has been renewed for a second season after the first season’s massive success worldwide.
