HYBE, the entertainment giant behind the seven-member group, made the announcement Tuesday as it reported record-high third-quarter revenue and operating profit, driven largely by BTS’ world tour, Yonhap News Agency reported.
“We plan to announce additional dates for the [‘Arirang’] tour and are also preparing for the group’s post-tour activities, including both group and solo projects,” HYBE CEO Lee Jae-sang said, according to Yonhap.
In a separate statement reported by Yonhap, HYBE said BTS also planned “to work on new music and pursue diverse projects simultaneously to expand its reach.”
The “Arirang” tour wrapped up its South American leg in October and is set to continue across Asia and Australia beginning in November. Its final scheduled stops are three shows at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan in March 2027, according to the tour’s website.
The tour marks BTS’ first since a years-long hiatus due to the members’ mandatory military service. It supports the group’s latest album of the same name, which is also its first full-length release in four years.
Beyond their success as a group, the BTS members have also established thriving solo careers, with their songs garnering hundreds of millions — and in some cases, billions — of streams on music streaming platforms.
