MANILA — Farm Fresh edged out Zus Coffee in their sister team showdown, 25-21, 16-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Siklab series on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

The victory gives the Foxies a 3-2 card — although a streak remains elusive for the Koji Tsuzurabara-coached squad.

This was also their fourth straight five-set match.

“Siyempre, team effort talaga ‘to eh. So, sinasabi ko sa mga teammates ko na gustuhin natin manalo. ‘Yung lang naman ‘yung basic na sasabihin din na dapat gusto natin manalo,” said Royse Tubino, who dropped a team-high of 20 points.

Tubino admitted that it was hard to face their fellow Strong Group team because they are “well-read” by the other side.

“Hindi pwede ‘yung pa-easy-easy lang tayo. Kasi si Zus, sa sobrang tagal ng liga namin, lagi sila ka-tune up din namin. So, alam na nila ‘yung galawan namin. So, kailangan namin na mag-double time pa,” said Tubino.

Down one set, the Foxies forced a decider, refusing to give up in Set 4.

With the momentum on their side, the Foxies reached match point quickly at 14-6 after a Riri Meneses monster block, although the Thunderbelles had a last gasp.

The Thunderbelles saved four match points, before Ces Molina ended the battle with an attack — initially called by officials as outside, but was overturned with a successful ball in-out challenge.

Molina finished with 18 points on 13 attacks and five blocks, to go with 12 excellent digs and 17 excellent receptions, while reigning Season MVP Trisha Tubu helped the cause with 17 markers.

Meanwhile, Zus Coffee remained winless after five matches.

Young AC Miner’s 21-piece was for naught, while veteran Jolina dela Cruz tallied 17 markers in the loss.
