Ticket details released for Anna Leigh Waters’ Dec. 9 pickleball event

MANILA — World No. 1 pickleball player Anna Leigh Waters will return to the Philippines on December 9 for a sports and entertainment event at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with ticket access opening to registered members of IAM Worldwide on Thursday, November 5.

Titled “IAM Experience: Anna Leigh Waters,” the event will begin at 3 p.m. and feature pickleball exhibitions, interactive activities, musical performances and celebrity appearances.

General ticket access will open on November 9, according to IAM Worldwide, which is organizing the event. Admission tickets will be offered free with purchases of designated product packages and can be claimed at the company’s head office and authorized branches nationwide.

The company has yet to release details of the qualifying product packages, seat categories and branch schedules. These will be announced through its official communication channels and social media accounts.

Waters previously visited the Philippines in October. During a press conference at Dusit Thani Manila, she announced her return in December following an enthusiastic response from Filipino fans and local pickleball players.

The upcoming event marks another collaboration between Waters and IAM Worldwide, which named her its global sports ambassador. The company said the partnership is part of its efforts to promote fitness, active lifestyles and nutrition.

In a statement, IAM Worldwide said it decided to move the event to the Smart Araneta Coliseum to accommodate public interest following Waters’ initial visit to the country.

“We want to ensure that as many fans as possible have the opportunity to witness the world’s greatest pickleball player in action, live,” the company said.

Waters is known for her achievements in women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles pickleball competitions.
