Sara Duterte in Hong Kong on Nov 6-8

MANILA — Vice President Sara Duterte will travel to Hong Kong from November 6 to 8, 2026, her office said Friday. 

Duterte will “attend engagements and participate in various activities, including an event organized by the Filipino Community,” the Office of the Vice President said. 

“The Vice President shall cover the cost of her travel using personal funds. No government money, resources, or facilities shall be used in connection with her travel,” the OVP said. 

It added that Duterte secured permission for the trip from the Quezon City court that handles the grave threats case against her.  

The statement came days before Duterte’s impeachment trial resumes on November 9.
