Sigabo: Gabo, nakatakas sa tangkang pag-aresto nina Umali at Santos | Episode 100

While Gabo (Coco Martin) is on his way to the spot where he parks his super taxi, he is unexpectedly apprehended by police officers PCPT Melchor Umali (Joko Diaz) and PMSg Renato Santos (Lauren Novero), who are patrolling Ginintuang Lupa at the time in search of the person who stole the bags of gold from the NLEA safehouse after they had been confiscated from the Zafras.

Having seen a long-haired man riding a motorcycle in the area on the very night the crime happened, they immediately pursue Gabo, mistaking him for the culprit. Once they’ve managed to catch up with him, Umali orders Gabo to stop and raise his hands, which the latter obeys. As Umali further instructs him to put down whatever he’s holding and threatens to shoot him if he refuses to comply, Gabo responds by accusing the officers of merely extorting money from him and warning them that they have picked the wrong person, since he doesn’t have money yet.

Umali then declares that he has long suspected Gabo of stealing gold they had confiscated, to which Gabo retorts that he has no idea what Umali is talking about. As Santos is about to handcuff him upon Umali’s order, Gabo throws the food container he’s holding at Santos and quickly runs away. He leaps, climbs, and runs across the houses and rooftops of his neighbors as Umali and Santos attempt to chase after him but fail to catch up.

Gabo eventually reaches the lot where his super taxi is parked, immediately gets in, starts the engine, and speeds away from Ginintuang Lupa. Unable to catch him, the aforementioned police officers decide to return to their patrol in hopes of finding him again.

Unbeknownst to them, the real culprit is actually their asset, Django (Jhong Hilario), who disguised himself as Gabo by wearing a wig and riding a motorcycle when he and his group carried out their mission to steal the gold bars and jewelry from the NLEA and return them to the Zafras, who had ordered the theft. Aside from wanting to evade arrest and escape the law, Django also did it revenge against Gabo, whom he has long considered his enemy.
