Atsuko Okatsuka Makes Filipinos Laugh Again with ‘The Big Bowl Tour’ | One Music PH

Atsuko Okatsuka brings her comedic prowess back to Manila with The Big Bowl Tour on Nov. 15 at the New Frontier Theater, following her three sold-out shows in the country in 2024.

The 2024 to 2025 shows, titled Full Grown Tour, sold out over 200 dates across 100 cities in more than 20 countries. The Big Bowl Tour follows the preceding shows, as well as the release of her hit second stand-up special, Father, on Hulu and Disney+.

Prior to these, the comedian received accolades for her first special The Intruder on HBO, including a Gracie Award for Best Comedy Special, and recognitions from The New York Times, Vulture and Variety. The comedy show has garnered over 100 million views online.

Filipino audiences might be familiar of her and her signature bowl-cut wig through her viral moments, such as riding a jeepney in Manila, and bringing Beyonce‘s “Partition” back to the charts thanks to her #DropChallenge, among others.
