Zoren Legaspi on growing closer to Mavy, Cassy as they get older: ‘Kung kailan sila tumanda’
Zoren Legaspi shared that his family has grown closer as his twins, Mavy and Cassy, have gotten older, describing a different dynamic from how families typically change as children become more independent.
Mavy and Cassy are already 25 years old, with both actively pursuing their own careers.
During their appearance on Gandang Gabi, Vice, Zoren said that he noticed how their family became closer as his children grew up, even as they gained more freedom and spent less time at home.
“Sabi ko nga ngayon, mas naging close kami. Kung kailan sila tumanda,” Zoren said.
Host Vice Ganda pointed out that children often become more independent as they grow older, leaving them with less time to bond with their parents.
Zoren, however, said his family experienced the opposite, emphasizing how their relationship has become even closer over the years.
Mavy also acknowledged the change, recalling how he and Cassy had more walls between them and their parents when they were younger.
“Siyempre, ang dami kasing secrets nung bata,” Mavy said, contrasting their childhood with how open they are with their parents today.
The twins also shared how their family maintains communication through a group chat created by their father, initially named “Legaspi’s Info Center.”
The conversation turned playful when the family revealed that they sometimes create a separate group chat without Zoren, particularly when they find his social media posts embarrassing.
Despite the teasing, their exchange showed how comfortable they have become with one another, with the family openly sharing jokes and stories about their everyday interactions.
In an Instagram post, Zoren also shared a glimpse of their family, showing them spending happy moments together with their dogs.
For the Legaspi family, growing older does not mean growing apart but growing together. Their experience highlights how family relationships can continue to evolve as children become adults, allowing parents and children to build a closer bond beyond their younger years.
