Almost P2M worth of party drugs seized in Manila

Nearly P2 million worth of so-called party drugs were confiscated in a buy-bust operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Thursday night.

A report from Radyo Inquirer said the Northern Police District’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two suspects during the operation.

The suspects are live-in partners who were caught by operatives in their apartment in Sta. Cruz, the report added.

Police said sachets of cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana were sezied from the suspects. Authorities launched an investigation into the couple’s supplier of illegal drugs.

The suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Donabelle Dominguez-Cargullo, Radyo Inquirer  /kga
