Vivencio Dizon named new Transportation secretary


MANILA, Philippines — The Palace has named Vivencio “Vince” Bringas Dizon as the new secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), effective February 21. Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed this in a Viber message to reporters on Thursday. “He is already authorized by the Office of the President to start the transition at the DOTr in coordination with the team of Secretary Jaime Bautista, who has resigned due to health reasons,” Bersamin also said.
