This was the question posed by election law expert Atty. Romulo Macalintal on Monday after Mr. Duterte dared Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno and Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales to resign with him.

Macalintal said that while the Philippine Constitution provides that the Vice President shall assume the presidency in case the President resigns, it does not indicate the manner or procedure for the President’s resignation.
