Magnitude 5.4 quake hits off Davao Occidental

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Father’s Day, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

A Phivolcs report showed that the earthquake hit East Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occcidental at 10:39 a.m. on Sunday.

Phivolcs said that aftershocks should be expected from the quake. /je
