Road reblocking, repairs in parts of Metro Manila June 22-25
THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake road reblocking and repairs starting at 11 p.m. this Friday until Monday, June 25, The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday.
For southbound motorists, affected roads are Edsa after Arayat St. (3rd lane from the sidewalk) Service Road and Edsa infront of Francesca Tower to after Scout Borromeo (3rd lane from the center island).
For northbound motorists, reblocking includes Edsa near North Ave., MRT Station (2nd lane), Batasan Road, Commonwealth Ave., to Kalinisan St. (2nd lane), A.H Lacson Ave., near España, Congressional Ave., before Mindanao Ave. (3rd lane),and Fairview Ave. from Mindanao Ave. Extension to Jordan Plains Subdivision to Mindanao Ave. Exten sion.
All affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday. Motorists are advised to avoid the areas undergoing reblocking and use alternate routes instead, the MMDA said. JAMES GALVEZ
