Motorcycle rider killed in Olongapo road accident
OLONGAPO CITY — A motorcycle rider died on Friday (July 6) when he was struck by a passenger jeepney along the National Highway in Barangay (village) Kalaklan here.
Datu Gali Caus, 58, was bound for the city center when he overshot his lane as he negotiated a curve and collided with the approaching jeepney about 11 a.m.
Caus was rushed to the James L. Gordon Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The jeepney driver, Baby Boy Permejo, 28, surrendered to the police. JOANNA AGLIBOT
