UPDATE: Former child star nabbed in drug buy-bust
A former child star was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City, police said.
CJ Ramos, Cromell John Ocampo Ramos, in real life, was apprehended along Tandang Sora by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Caloocan City Police Station on July 31.
He was presented by Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, National Capital Region Police Office regional director, at his headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa.
Ramos, 31, was known for his breakout role as John-John in 2000 drama movie “Tanging Yaman”.
Authorities are now preparing charges against Ramos for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. ROY NARRA, ALEC NALDO
