Rain to continue as 3 weather systems outside PAR enhance monsoon

A wet Wednesday is likely as the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) predicts monsoon rain in many parts of the country.

Three weather disturbances outside the Philippine area of responsibility — two tropical storms and one low pressure area — will enhance the southwest monsoon, according to Pagasa.

Rains will continue to affect Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Islands due to southwest monsoon.

Zambales and Bataan, meanwhile, will have occasional rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains, the state weather bureau said.    /kga
