DPWH to repair parts of Edsa, C5 starting Friday, Sept. 7

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Thursday advised the public to take alternate routes as repairs are set to be carried out in some major roads of Metro Manila including Edsa and C5.

According to DPWH’s advisory, the following sections will be closed from Friday, September 7 at 11 p.m. and will be reopened on Monday, September 10 at 5 a.m.:

Quezon City

Edsa Northbound: Before North Avenue, 6th lane from the center island

Edsa Southbound: In front of Francesca Tower to Scout Borromeo, 3rd lane from the center island

Batasan Road – 2nd lane starting from Payatas Road up until Quezon City Polytechnic University

Pasig City

C5 Southbound: C5 Road before Tiendesitas, C5 flyover

C5 Southbound: (Gap 3) Chainage 52 to Chainage 420, 1st lane

Manila City

Northbound: A. H. Lacson Avenue – starting corner of Aragon Street and corner of P. Florentino Street
