‘Ompong’ tracker as it hits Luzon

Typhoon “Ompong” (international name: Mangkhut) maintained its strength while moving towards the northwest section of the Philippines, packing maximum speed of 205 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 255 kph.

Here’s the rundown on Ompong’s movement as it entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) last Wednesday and started to unleash its strength in parts of Luzon:
