Militant groups protest militarization

LEGAZPI CITY – Members of militant groups Bagong Alyansang Makabayan and Karapatan in Bicol held a protest rally as Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana was expected to arrive here Tuesday.
The militants were protesting the militarization of the government where President Duterte appoints retired military officials in various government posts.
Lorenzana was expected to address members of the Regional Peace and Order Council at the Legazpi City Convention Center. MAR S. ARGUELLES
