MANILA, Philippines — Thousands of devotees flocked to the Quiapo Church grounds on Wednesday to take part in the traditional Traslacion, which is the highlight of the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

Some of the devotees are patiently waiting for the return of the Black Nazarene from its 6.9-km procession from the Quirino Grandstand.

The “andas” or carriage of the Black Nazarene started its way back to the Quiapo Church at 5:08 a.m.

Replicas of the Black Nazarene image were also brought to the church.
