Duterte still most trusted Philippine official; Arroyo least trusted – Pulse Asia

MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte got the highest approval and trust ratings among elected officials, the latest Pulse Asia survey released on Friday showed.
The survey, conducted from December 14 to 21, revealed that the President got an 81 percent approval rating in December, up by six percentage points from his September 2018 rating while his trust rating also increased by four percentage points from 72 percent in September 2018 to 76 percent in December of the same year.
Vice President Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo got a 62 percent approval rating and a 56 percent trust rating.
Senate President Vicente Sotto III meanwhile obtained a 76 percent approval rating and a 66 percent trust rating while House Speaker Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo, who got the lowest ratings, had 27 percent approval rating and a 21 percent trust rating. /muf
