Manny Pacquiao’s strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune said he believes Adrien Broner will quit before the completion of his world title fight against the Filipino World Boxing Association welterweight champion on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fortune said the 40-year-old eight-division world champion Pacquiao is too fast and too strong for the American challenger.

“I just don’t see Broner takes the ton of punishment that Manny Pacquiao will deliver,” the Australian told The Manila Times via overseas call. “You know what I mean, I don’t see that and I think Broner will quit.”

“Everyone else that Manny has fought you see the result. I don’t see Broner taking that sort of punishment. Manny’s power and speed is tremendous. I believe he (Broner) will quit because he can’t take that sort of beating,” he added.

And while PacMan is again razor sharp, Fortune explained that they would not be looking for a knockout. Pacquiao won via seventh round TKO against Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in July 15 last year —his first victory by way of knockout after nine years.

“We are not looking for a knockout. If knockout comes, that’s great,” added Fortune.

Pacquiao will no longer have sparring sessions but just light training until Friday’s formal weigh in according to Fortune.

“Good, everyone is good and everyone is fine, Buboy [Fernandez] is good, Freddie [Roach] is good, and everyone is doing their job. It is a very, very good camp. Manny is happy,” said Fortune.
